I am especially taken with wild birds and travel widely to photograph them. In my photographs and Intaglio prints of Ravens, Crows and Sandhill Cranes I go after portraits of individual birds rather than “collecting specimens” of generalized birds. My bird portraits invite the viewer to really take in and connect with the spirit of a specific bird. They invite a relationship.
